Devotion – Faith in the Waiting
Today, I reflect on what it truly means to “Wait.” On this Holy Saturday, I place my trust in God and choose to wait on Him. It is a day that reminds me how much can be learned when we “Wait.” Before celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, hope may seem hidden, and silence fills the space between promise and fulfillment. Yet in that quiet, the Holy Spirit invites us to listen for God’s message, a gentle reminder that when we “Wait” on God it is quality time, not wasted time. In life, there are seasons when we must simply wait on God.
Reflection:
During those times, even when we cannot see what God is doing, choose to trust that God is still at work. “Wait” with anticipation and be prepared for the glorious things God is about to do in Jesus’ name. What is God teaching me in this season of waiting? Am I trusting His timing, even when I cannot see the outcome?
Call to Action:
🙏🏾Pause today and spend quiet time listening for God’s voice.
🙏🏾Release control and surrender your timeline to God.
🙏🏾Speak faith over your waiting season with expectation.
🙏🏾Encourage someone else who may be in a season of waiting.
Pray
Gracious God, Thank You for meeting me in the stillness of waiting. Help me to trust You even when I cannot see what You are doing. Strengthen my heart and fill me with courage as I wait on Your perfect timing. Teach me to listen, to be patient, and to remain faithful. I believe that You are working all things together for good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
