“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”Hebrews 4:16 ESV
Devotion – Draw Near With Confidence
Today, I reflect on the word “Confidence.” As a believer in Christ, I thank God for the “Confidence” I have to approach God in prayer and reflection. Because of Jesus, we can draw near without fear, shame, or hesitation. We can trust God’s promise that we will receive compassion, mercy, and help through the power of the Holy Spirit. Whatever we face today, we do not have to hide or struggle alone. God invites us to come boldly into God’s presence, trusting that grace, wisdom, strength, patience, and comfort are available for every circumstance.
Reflection
Where do I need to approach God with greater Confidence today? What fear, worry, or hesitation do I need to release as I draw near to God’s throne of grace?
Call to Action
🙏🏽Draw near to God in prayer with Confidence.
🙏🏽Release fear, shame, and hesitation.
🙏🏽Trust God for mercy and grace in every circumstance.
🙏🏽Rely on the Holy Spirit for wisdom, strength, and patience.
🙏🏽Remember that God’s presence is near and God’s help is available.
Pray
Gracious and loving God, thank You for the gift of this new day and for the Confidence I have to come into Your presence through Jesus Christ. Thank You that I do not have to approach You with fear, shame, or hesitation. Help me to trust Your grace and receive Your mercy in every area of my life. When I feel weak, give me strength. When I am uncertain, give me wisdom. When I become impatient, give me patience. When my heart is troubled, surround me with Your comfort and peace. Holy Spirit, guide my thoughts, words, decisions, and actions today. May I walk with Confidence, knowing that Your presence is near and Your help is always available. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
