Word For Today – Secure
Scripture
“But whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.” Proverbs 1:33 ESV
Devotion – Secure in God’s Presence
Today, I reflect on the word “Secure.” I am grateful that I can rest securely in the knowledge that I am safe in God’s divine presence. In Jesus’ name, I listen daily for the promptings and guidance of the Holy Spirit. As we spend time in reflection and devotion, may we find peace and spiritual stability rooted in our relationship with God. Rather than allowing fear to paralyze us, let us confidently follow God’s wisdom. When we listen, trust, and obey, we can rest knowing that we are “Secure” in God’s care and guided toward lasting well-being.
Reflection
Where are you allowing fear or uncertainty to disturb your peace? Today, remember that your security is not determined by changing circumstances. God is present, God is faithful, and God is guiding you. Listen for the Holy Spirit and rest securely in God’s care.
Call to Action
🕊️Listen for God’s wisdom before making decisions today.

Pray
Gracious God, thank You for the gift of this new day and for the assurance that I am secure in Your presence. When fear, uncertainty, or anxiety tries to overwhelm me, remind me that You are near. In Jesus’ name, help me listen carefully for Your wisdom and follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Give me peace that steadies my heart, faith that strengthens my steps, and courage to obey Your direction. Teach me to trust You rather than be controlled by fear. May my security be rooted not in circumstances but in my relationship with You. Thank You for watching over me, guiding me, and leading me toward lasting well-being. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
