Word For Today – Love
Scripture
“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 ESV
Devotion – Loved Beyond Our Imperfection
Today, I reflect on God’s unconditional “Love” and give thanks that God loves me despite my imperfections. God’s “Love” does not wait for us to become perfect but reaches us even in our sin and rebellion. Through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, we receive forgiveness, salvation, redemption, and restoration. What amazing “Love” that Christ died for us while we were still sinners! Guided daily by the Holy Spirit, let us embrace God’s steadfast “Love,” walk in gratitude, and extend that same grace, compassion, and forgiveness to others. God’s “Love” never fails!
Reflection
God loved us before we ever loved God. Christ’s sacrifice reminds us that God’s “Love” is not earned through perfection but freely given through grace. Are we allowing God’s unconditional “Love” to transform our hearts, guide our actions, and shape how we love and forgive others?
