Word For Today – Grow
Scripture
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” 2 Peter 3:18 ESV
Devotion – Growing in Grace and Knowledge
Today I reflect on what it means to truly “Grow” spiritually, in faith, and in daily practice. I desire to continually grow in the grace and knowledge of God through Jesus Christ, while remaining attentive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. God’s ongoing call on my life is to grow into spiritual maturity—deepening my understanding of God’s favor and developing a more intimate, personal relationship with God through Jesus. As I “Grow” I am better able to invite others into that same life-giving relationship with God. Growth is not automatic; it is intentional. It happens as we study God’s Word, meditate on God’s truth, and apply the knowledge of Christ in our everyday lives. Each step of obedience, each moment of reflection, and each act of faith becomes part of the process of becoming who God has called us to be.
Reflection
Let us embrace this journey of growth today, trusting that God is faithfully shaping us, strengthening us, and guiding us into deeper spiritual maturity. In what areas of your life is God calling you to grow deeper in faith, trust, and understanding? How can you intentionally nurture that growth today?
Call to Action
🙏🏾Spend time in God’s Word today.
🙏🏾Meditate on 2 Peter 3:18 and apply it to your life today.
🙏🏾Ask God to reveal an area where your need to “Grow” spiritually.
🙏🏾Take one step of faith that reflects spiritual maturity.

Prayer
Gracious and loving God, I thank You for the gift of growth. In Jesus’ name, I ask that You continue to shape me into who You have called me to be. Help me to grow in Your grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Guide me by Your Holy Spirit so that I may walk in wisdom, obedience, and faith each day. Strengthen my desire to seek You, to know You more deeply, and to live according to Your truth. Use my growth as a testimony to invite others into relationship with You. To You be all glory, now and forever. Amen.
