Word For Today – Abundantly

Scripture:
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.”  Ephesians 3:20 ESV

Devotion – Living Abundantly Through God’s Power
Today, I reflect on the meaning of “Abundantly.” I thank God, the One who gives far more than I know how to ask or imagine, so that I might truly live “Abundantly.” God possesses immeasurable power, beyond anything my human mind can comprehend, hope for, or envision, working through Jesus Christ and within me by the Holy Spirit.  To live “Abundantly” is to embrace the strength and confidence to share my faith boldly, trusting that God can exceed every expectation, no matter my limitations. I choose to stand firm in the truth that God is able and desires that each of us live “Abundantly” by praying boldly, encouraging others, and using our God-given gifts to serve and glorify God.

Reflection
As we approach Palm Sunday, Holy Week, and Easter, may we carry the perspective of living life “Abundantly,” remembering that God is not limited by our circumstances. God continues to do exceedingly more through us when we place our faith and trust in God each day.  Where in my life have I limited what God can do based on my own understanding? How can I begin to trust God more deeply and live with an “Abundant” mindset today?
