Scripture
“Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!”
Psalm 105:4 ESV.
Devotion – Seek His Presence Continually
Today, I reflect on the word “Seek.” I thank God, in Jesus’ name, for the gift of this new day. To seek God is to intentionally pursue a closer relationship with Him, listen for the prompting of the Holy Spirit, and rely on God’s strength rather than our own. God invites us to seek more than knowledge about Him; He desires that we experience personal closeness and friendship with Him. As we seek God through prayer, Scripture, worship, and obedience, may we put Him first and remain attentive to His presence throughout this new day.
Reflection
What would it look like for me to seek God continually today, not only when I need help, but in every decision, conversation, challenge, and opportunity? Am I seeking only what God can do for me, or am I seeking the joy of simply knowing and being close to God?
Call to Action
🌄Seek God first before making important decisions today.
🌄Spend intentional time in prayer and Scripture.
🌄Listen quietly for the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
🌄Choose God’s strength instead of relying only on your own.
🌄Pause throughout the day and intentionally seek God’s presence.
🌄Ask God to deepen your personal relationship with Him.
Pray
Gracious God, thank You, in Jesus’ name, for the gift of this new day. Today, I choose to seek You, Your strength, and Your presence continually. Give me a deeper desire to know You personally and to walk closely with You. Holy Spirit, guide my thoughts, decisions, words, and actions. When I am tempted to depend only upon myself, remind me that my true strength comes from You. Help me to put You first, obey Your Word, and recognize Your presence throughout my day. May I seek You not only for what You can provide, but because I desire a closer friendship and relationship with You. Keep my heart centered on You and my life aligned with Your will. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
