Devotion – God Is My Strength and Refuge
Today, I reflect on the word “Strength.” As I face this new day and the week ahead, I am reminded that God is my “Strength.” When my physical, emotional, or spiritual reserves run low, God remains my “Strength” refuge, my safe place, and my ever-present help. Through faith in God, in Jesus’ name, and with the daily guidance of the Holy Spirit, we receive renewed courage, protection, and encouragement. Whatever challenges arise, we do not face them alone. God’s “Strength” is sufficient, God’s presence is constant, and God’s help is available whenever we need it. Trust God today!

Reflection
When life’s challenges leave you feeling weak, weary, or overwhelmed, remember that God’s “Strength” never fails. You do not have to depend on your own abilities to overcome every obstacle. God is your refuge, your protection, and your ever-present help.  Are you relying on your own “Strength” or are you trusting God to sustain you? What burdens can you surrender today, knowing that God’s “Strength” is greater than anything you face?

Call to Action
🌄Trust God: Begin your day acknowledging God as your “Strength.”
🌄Release Your Burdens: Surrender your worries, fears, and challenges to God
🌄Seek the Holy Spirit: Invite the Holy Spirit to renew your spiritual “Strength.”
🌄Stand Firm in Faith: Remember that God’s presence is constant.
🌄Encourage Someone: Share God’s promise of “Strength” refuge, and hope with someone who may be struggling today.

Pray
Gracious and Loving God, Thank You for the blessing of a new day and the assurance that You are my Strength, my refuge, and my ever-present help. When I am weary, strengthen me. When I am afraid, remind me of Your presence. When life’s challenges seem overwhelming, help me remember that I never face them alone.  Lord, forgive me for the times I depend on my own strength instead of trusting You. Teach me to surrender my burdens and rest in Your loving care.  In Jesus’ name, I ask that the Holy Spirit guide my thoughts, words, decisions, and actions throughout this day and the week ahead. Renew my courage, deepen my faith, and empower me to encourage others who need Your Strength. Thank You, Lord, for being my safe place, my protection, and my unfailing source of hope. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
