Word For Today – Planted

Scripture:
“That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.”  Psalm 1:3 ESV

Devotion – Planted in Faith, Rooted in God
As I prepare to worship in community today, I thank God, in Jesus’ name, that I am “Planted” in my faith. By seeking God’s presence daily, I remain “Planted” and rooted, steadfast through both trials and joy. I owe my life to God and ask the Holy Spirit to continue guiding me in every step I take on this new day.  To be “Planted” means more than simply believing, it means being firmly established in God’s truth, nourished by God’s Word, and sustained by God’s presence. Like a tree by streams of water, our strength is not dependent on circumstances but on our connection to God. When we remain “Planted” in God, we are able to grow, endure, and flourish regardless of the season.

Reflection:
As we move through today, may our lives be intentionally “Planted,” deeply rooted in God’s power and grace, our constant source of spiritual growth. May we serve as living examples of God’s love, allowing our actions to align with God’s purpose, bear fruit, and bless othersWhat areas of your life need to be more deeply “Planted” in God so that you can grow and bear fruit in every season?

Call to Action
🌳Spend time in God’s presence through prayer and Scripture today.
🌳Reflect on areas where you may feel uprooted and surrender them to God.
🌳Stay “Planted” in faith, trusting God through both challenges and blessings.
🌳Be a visible example of God’s love through your words and actions.
🌳Encourage someone else to remain “Planted” in their faith

Pray
Gracious and Loving God, Thank You for planting me firmly in Your love and truth. In Jesus’ name, help me to remain rooted in You, drawing strength from Your presence each day. Guide me by Your Holy Spirit so that my life reflects Your purpose and bears fruit that blesses others. When I face challenges, remind me that I am planted, secure, and sustained by You. Let my faith grow deep, my life flourish, and my actions bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
