Word For Today – Lord

 Scripture
“For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, ‘Fear not, I am the one who helps you.’” Isaiah 41:13 ESV

Devotion – The Lord Holds My Hand
Today, I thank God for a new day and proclaim God as Lord of my life. Our Lord is not distant but close, personal, and actively present. Through Jesus Christ, we are reminded that we do not have to live in fear. Through the Holy Spirit, God provides daily guidance, strength, and help. When fear, uncertainty, or worry comes, remember the promise: the Lord holds our hand. We are never facing life alone. God is with us, strengthening us and saying, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”

Reflection
What fear or uncertainty do I need to place in the Lord’s hands today? How would my attitude change if I truly trusted that God is holding my hand and helping me?

Pray
Lord God, thank You for the gift of a new day. I proclaim You as Lord of my life and place my trust in You. Thank You for reminding me that I do not have to be afraid because You are with me. When fear, worry, or uncertainty enters my heart, help me remember that You hold my hand. Through Jesus Christ, strengthen my faith, and through the Holy Spirit, guide my thoughts, words, actions, and decisions. Help me release what I cannot control and trust Your presence, power, and promises. May I walk through this day with confidence, knowing that You are my Lord, my strength, and my help. Use my life to encourage someone else to trust You today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
