“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7 ESV
Devotion – Walk In The Light
Today, I reflect on the word “Light.” I thank God for the gift of a new day, a day to walk in God’s “Light” receive God’s continual love through Jesus Christ, and listen for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. As we walk in the “Light” of God’s truth, we grow in fellowship with one another as a community united in Christ. Let us bring our thoughts, actions, and motives into God’s presence, allowing God to transform us into living examples of love, grace, and truth. Today, may we walk boldly in God’s beautiful “Light” reflecting Jesus in all we say and do.

Am I allowing the Light of Christ to shine through my thoughts, words, actions, and relationships today?
Call to Action

☀️Examine your heart and bring your thoughts, motives, and actions before God.

Pray
Gracious and loving God, thank You for the gift of this new day and for calling me to walk in Your Light. Thank You for Your continual love revealed through Jesus Christ and for the presence of the Holy Spirit who guides me in truth. Search my heart and bring every thought, motive, word, and action into Your Light. Cleanse me, transform me, and help me live in loving fellowship with others. When darkness, uncertainty, or temptation surrounds me, remind me that Your Light is greater. Give me courage to walk boldly in Your truth and grace. May my life reflect Jesus so that others may see Your love shining through me. Let Your beautiful Light guide my path throughout this day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
