Word For Today –Trust

Scripture
“In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?” Psalm 56:4 ESV

Devotion – Trust God With the Unknown
Today, I choose to “Trust” God’s promises instead of allowing anxiety and fear of the unknown to control me. When challenges arise, I will center my thoughts on what God has promised and remember that God is present, faithful, and able. Through Jesus Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can rely on God’s strength rather than surrender to fear. Let “Trust” be our choice today. God’s grace brings comfort, hope, protection, and provision. Whatever today holds, we can confidently declare: In God I trust; I shall not be afraid!

Reflection
What fear or uncertainty do I need to release today so that I can more fully trust God?

Call to Action
🌄Trust God with what you cannot control.
🌄Replace anxious thoughts with God’s promises.
🌄Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts and decisions.
🌄Refuse to allow fear to steal your joy and peace.
🌄Thank God for His comfort, protection, and provision.
🌄Declare throughout the day: “In God I trust; I shall not be afraid.”

Pray
Gracious God, thank You for the gift of this new day. In the name of Jesus, I choose to Trust You with my life, my circumstances, and everything I cannot see or control. When anxiety rises and fear of the unknown tries to steal my joy and peace, remind me of Your promises. Holy Spirit, guide my thoughts and strengthen my faith. Help me trust Your presence, power, protection, and provision. Replace my fear with fearless comfort, my worry with hope, and my uncertainty with confidence in You. May Your will be done in my life, on earth as it is in heaven. Today, I declare with faith: In God I trust; I shall not be afraid. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
