Word For Today – Steadfast
Scripture
“My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast! I will sing and make melody!”
Psalm 57:7 ESV
Devotion – A Steadfast Heart
Today, I reflect on the word “Steadfast.” I thank God for the gift of a new day and intentionally choose to remain :”Steadfast” focused on trusting God and offering God praise. To be “Steadfast” is to be firmly anchored, steady, faithful, and unshakable. Even when circumstances shift around us, our hearts can remain “Steadfast” fixed on God’s purpose and promises. Through Jesus Christ and the gentle promptings of the Holy Spirit, may we remain faithful, praise God with all our heart, all that we are, and live each day as reflections of God’s divine love.

What is trying to shake my faith today, and how can I choose to remain “Steadfast” in trusting and praising God?

💖Be “Steadfast: Fix your heart on God before focusing on today’s circumstances.
💖Trust God’s purpose even when you cannot see what God is doing.
💖Listen for the Holy Spirit’s guidance throughout the day.
💖Choose praise over worry when circumstances begin to shift.
💖Reflect God’s love through your words, attitudes, and actions.
Pray
Gracious and loving God, thank You for the gift of this new day. In Jesus’ name, help me to remain steadfast in my faith, trust, and praise. When circumstances change and uncertainty surrounds me, keep my heart firmly anchored in You. Holy Spirit, gently guide my thoughts, words, decisions, and actions. Strengthen me to remain faithful when I am tempted to become discouraged, distracted, or afraid. Fix my heart on Your promises and remind me that You are faithful and Your love never fails. May my life reflect Your divine love, grace, and goodness. Today, I choose to trust You, praise You, and remain steadfast in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
