Happy Sunny Summer Saturday! 
“Devotion: Soaking in God’s Provision”

Scripture:  “So Abraham called the name of that place, ‘The Lord will provide’; as it is said to this day, ‘On the mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”  Genesis 22:14 ESV

This Saturday, I’m meditating on one of God’s powerful names: Jehovah Jireh.
This name, first spoken by Abraham, proclaims that God “sees” our needs and “provides” in perfect timing. As summer begins, I’m soaking in the sunshine and celebrating the joy that only God can give. Today is more than a change in season;
it is a reminder that God’s presence is constant, whether we walk through sunshine or storms.  We may face uncertain days or abundant blessings, but one thing remains unchanged:  I am God’s chosen, and I am enough.  That truth remains steadfast, unaffected by the weather or the weight of life.  I am reminded that when Abraham was tested, God made a way. And today, that same God continues to provide for you and me through Jesus Christ and the promised presence of the Holy Spirit.  So, whether your heart is light or your burdens feel heavy, trust in this truth: God’s provision is already in motion.

Call to Action:
Take a few moments today to:
✅ Pause and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, let it remind you of God’s love.
✅ Reflect on how God has provided in the past.
✅ Renew your trust that He will continue to provide what you need, spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

Pray this prayer:
“Lord, thank You for being my Provider. I trust You with what I have, and I rest in confidence that You will supply everything I need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
