Title of The Word For Today
Scripture
“Restore to me the joy of your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit.”
Psalm 51:12 ESV
Devotion – Restored by God’s Grace
Today, I reflect on God’s power to “Restore.” When the darkness of the world attempts to overshadow my fellowship with God, I call on the name of Jesus and ask God to Restore our connection once again. I trust that God is faithful to “Restore” every place of brokenness and set me free to live as Christ’s ambassador. God stands ready to “Restore,” renew, and strengthen us when we open our hearts in obedience, choosing God’s ways over our own. Through Jesus Christ, God will “Restore” our relationship with God through the Holy Spirit, helping us live righteously and resist the sins that once separated us from God.
Reflection
During this Lenten season, may we trust God to “Restore” us, to bring back the happiness of being forgiven and to create within us a willing, obedient heart. True joy is found only in our relationship with God. What areas of your life need God’s restoring touch today, and how might inviting God into those spaces renew your joy and strengthen your relationship with Him?
Call to Action
🦋Ask God to “Restore” any area of spiritual dryness or distance.
🦋Reflect on moments when God has restored you in the past and give thanks.
🦋Choose one habit today, that strengthens your connection with God.
🦋Extend encouragement to someone and ask God to “Restore” their joy.
Pray
Gracious and loving God, I thank You for Your power to restore what has been broken in my life. When I wander or grow distant, draw me back into the joy of Your presence. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit that seeks to follow You faithfully. Through Jesus Christ, renew my heart, strengthen my faith, and guide me by the Holy Spirit so that I may live as Your ambassador in the world. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
