Good Friday – Great and Holy Friday
Seven Last Words of Jesus

Scripture and Devotion
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” *(Luke 23:34)*
Even in pain, mercy flows from Christ.

“Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.” *(Luke 23:43)*
God’s Grace is extended through Christ.

“Woman, behold your son… Son, behold your mother.” *(John 19:26–27)*
God’s Love remains, even here.

“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” *(Matthew 27:46; Mark 15:34)* Jesus carried the weight of separation from God for us.

“I thirst.” *(John 19:28)*
Not only for water, but for all souls to be restored.

“It is finished.” *(John 19:30)
The path and work of redemption through is complete through Christ.

“Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” *(Luke 23:46)
Surrender all, trusting the promises of God are fulfilled, in Christ.

Good Friday Call To  Action
✝️Reflect on Christ’s sacrifice through prayer and Scripture reading.
✝️Practice forgiveness by releasing offenses and extending grace to others
✝️Serve someone in humility as an expression of Christ’s love.
✝️Observe a moment of silence or fasting to honor Jesus’ suffering and surrender.

Pray
Almighty God, On this Good Friday, we pause to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Thank You for Your boundless love, grace, and mercy poured out for us. Forgive us, renew us, and draw us closer to Your heart. Help us to walk in humility, to extend grace to others, and to live in the freedom Christ has given. May we never forget the cost of our redemption and the power of Your love.  Into Your hands, we place our lives with trust and gratitude. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
