Word For Today – Fruit
Scripture
“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” John 15:8 ESV
Devotion – Bearing Fruit That Glorifies God
Today, I reflect on what it means to bear “Fruit.” My goal as a follower of Christ and one sent in Jesus’ name is to live in a way that bears “Fruit” with gratitude, bringing glory to God, our Creator. When my life displays love, obedience, integrity, and character growth, it becomes evidence of a genuine connection to Jesus, the True Vine. Others can see and experience this “Fruit” and know that I belong to God. Let us remain in constant, living connection with Christ through the Holy Spirit, so that our outward actions become the visible signs of our inner relationship with God through Christ.
Reflection
May the “Fruit” we bear as Christ’s disciples be a testimony to God’s power and presence within us. Bearing “Fruit” is not about striving in our own strength but abiding in Christ. When we stay connected to God, our lives naturally reflect God’s love, patience, kindness, and faithfulness. What kind of fruit is your life producing today, and how is it pointing others to God?
Call to Action

Pray
Gracious God, Thank You for calling me to bear “Fruit” that glorifies You. Help me to remain connected to Jesus, the True Vine, so that my life reflects Your love, grace, and truth. Cultivate within me a heart of obedience and a spirit led by the Holy Spirit. Let the “Fruit” of my life be a testimony of Your presence and power. Use me to bless others and to bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
