Scripture
“Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin Israel! Again you shall adorn yourself with tambourines and shall go forth in the dance of the merrymakers.” Jeremiah 31:4 ESV
Devotion – Built by God, Restored with Joy
Today, I reflect on God’s power to “Build” rebuild, and restore. I acknowledge, proclaim, and rest in God’s promise to restore what was lost, rebuild what was broken, and bring joy into each new day. My first act each morning is to intentionally thank God for the gift of a brand-new day, an opportunity to build in Jesus’ name, with the help of the Holy Spirit. . May we walk in joy and understand what it means to be God’s merrymakers today, in Jesus’ name.
Reflection
Today, let us invite God to build our day according to His divine possibilities and spend time in God’s presence. What areas of your life need God’s rebuilding touch today? Consider the places where you may feel broken, weary, or uncertain. God’s promise is not just to repair—but to fully restore with joy. When God builds, He does so with purpose, beauty, and lasting strength.
Will you trust God to rebuild your heart, your hope, and your path today?

Pray
Gracious and Loving God, Thank You for Your power to build, rebuild, and restore every part of my life. I surrender all that is broken, weary, or uncertain into Your hands. Build me up according to Your will, and establish my steps in Your truth. Fill my heart with joy and help me walk as one who reflects Your goodness and grace. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, guide me to build a life that honors You in all I think, say, and do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
