Word For Today – Shaken
Scripture:
“Therefore, let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe.”
Hebrews 12:28 ESV
Devotion – Unshaken in God’s Unshakable Kingdom
Today I reflect and declare that my focus is on God, in Jesus’ name, and I will not be “Shaken” by distractions. I live under both the spiritual and earthly authority of God, and I am not “Shaken” because God is present, strengthening me to stand firm and remain strong and focused on the things of God. As I go forth each day, guided by the Holy Spirit, I will faithfully spread the message of Christ until God’s Kingdom kinship is fully revealed at Christ’s return. In a world filled with uncertainty, shifting values, and unexpected challenges, I anchor myself in the truth that God’s Kingdom cannot be “Shaken.” We are a people who will not be “Shaken” as we hold firmly to God’s grace, our source of strength and empowerment to serve God and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, today and always.
Reflection:
Let us recognize the power, authority, and security we have in God. What distractions or challenges are trying to shake your focus today? How can you intentionally refocus your heart and mind on God’s unshakable presence and promises?
Call to Action
🏔️Declare: “I will not be shaken in Jesus’ name.”
🏔️Identify one distraction and surrender it to God in prayer.
🏔️Spend time in God’s presence to strengthen your spiritual focus.
🏔️Encourage someone today with a reminder of God’s unshakable Kingdom.
🏔️Walk confidently, knowing God is present and sustaining you.
Pray
Gracious and Sovereign God, Thank You for the gift of Your unshakable Kingdom. In a world that often feels uncertain, You remain constant, faithful, and true. Strengthen me, Lord, so that I will not be shaken by distractions, fear, or doubt. Help me to stay focused on You, guided daily by the Holy Spirit. Empower me to stand firm in Your truth and to live as a reflection of Your love and grace. Use me, O God, to share Your message and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. I offer my life to You in worship, with reverence and awe. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
