Devotion – Rest in God’s Presence
Today, I reflect on what it truly means to find “Rest” in God, in Jesus’ name. I rest in the assurance that God’s presence brings a deep and lasting peace, one that quiets fear, eases anxiety, and provides guidance through the Holy Spirit along life’s journey. This promised “Rest” is more than physical stillness; it is a profound spiritual peace rooted in complete trust and confidence in God’s nearness. In God’s presence, we are reminded that we are never alone. Even in the midst of busy schedules, heavy responsibilities, or uncertain moments, God invites us to pause and receive divine renewal.
Reflection:
Today, let us intentionally pause and “Rest” spiritually and physically, in the comfort of God’s presence, allowing God’s peace to renew and sustain us. Where in your life do you need to intentionally pause and receive God’s rest today? How can you create space to be aware of God’s presence?

Pray
Gracious God, Thank You for the promise of Your presence and the gift of true rest. In Jesus’ name, I release every burden, worry, and fear into Your hands. Quiet my spirit and renew my mind with Your peace. Teach me to trust You more deeply and to rest in the assurance that You are always with me. Guide me by Your Holy Spirit and help me to walk in calm confidence today. Let Your presence surround me, sustain me, and restore me. May I live this day anchored in Your peace and strengthened by Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
