The Word For Today – Chose
Scripture
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love.” Ephesians 1:3–4 ESV
Devotion – Chosen in Love and Called to Walk in Grace
Today I reflect and acknowledge that God “Chose” me and God “Chose” us in love. I stand in awe, gratitude, and humility knowing that my Creator intentionally “Chose” me and “Chose” to bless me both on earth and in the heavenly realm through Jesus Christ. Through Christ, I am continually guided and strengthened by the Holy Spirit each day. What a powerful assurance to know that before the foundation of the world, God already knew us, loved us, and called us to belong to God. We are not forgotten, overlooked, or without purpose. God intentionally “Chose” us to walk in holiness, live blamelessly before God , and reflect God’s love in the world. Through Christ, we are gifted with spiritual blessings, grace, strength, and divine purpose. Because God “Chose” us, we can live confidently, faithfully, and courageously, trusting that the Holy Spirit will continue to guide our steps.
Reflection
Today and every day, may we embrace the truth that we are chosen, loved, called, and set apart for God’s glory in Jesus’ name.Take a moment today to reflect on the incredible truth that God intentionally chose you in love. How does knowing you are chosen by God shape the way you see yourself, your purpose, and your calling? Ask the Holy Spirit to help you walk confidently in the identity and grace God has given you
Call to Action
🌄Thank God today for choosing and loving you unconditionally.
🌄Walk confidently knowing you are chosen and called by God.
🌄Spend time in prayer and Scripture, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide your steps.
🌄Encourage someone else today by reminding them they are chosen by God.
🌄Live in a way that reflects that God “Chose” you in holiness, grace, and love.
Pray
Heavenly Father, thank You for choosing me and loving me before the foundation of the world. I praise You for every spiritual blessing You have given through Jesus Christ. Help me to walk daily in the confidence of being chosen, loved, and called according to Your purpose. Holy Spirit, guide my thoughts, words, and actions so that my life reflects Your holiness and grace. Strengthen me to live faithfully and to encourage others with the truth of Your love. Thank You for Your mercy, power, and presence in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
