Devotion – Living for God’s Kingdom
Today I reflect on God’s kinship “Kingdom” and the coming of God’s kinship “Kingdom.” I thank God for this new day in Jesus’ name and seek awareness of, and obedience to, the promptings of the Holy Spirit. I desire to live each day fully engaged in God’s kinship “Kingdom” work, embracing the kinship we share as all people. This is not just a future hope, but a present calling, an active, daily experience of walking in God’s will. With expectation and assurance, I trust that God’s reign will be fully realized just as God has promised. Each day, I ask God for strength, courage, and power to be part of the solution to the challenges we face, rather than contributing to them. Let us remember that kinship “Kingdom” work begins with us. It is expressed through lives marked by compassion, justice, mercy, humility, and obedience to God. May we remain committed to living as ambassadors of Christ, guided daily by the Holy Spirit, seeking peace, unity, and transformation in every place God sends us.
Reflection
As we faithfully participate in God’s work, we reflect the reality of God’s kinship “Kingdom” here on earth while anticipating the day when Christ returns to fully establish God’s righteous rule “on earth as it is in heaven.” God’s Kingdom is not only something we wait for, it is something we live into each day. Through our words, actions, compassion, and faithfulness, we reveal glimpses of God’s reign in the world around us. Today, let us ask ourselves: How can I reflect God’s Kingdom through the way I love, serve, forgive, and lead others? Every act of kindness, justice, mercy, and obedience becomes a testimony that God’s Kingdom is already at work among us.

Pray
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of this new day and for the promise of Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, help me to live fully engaged in Your Kingdom work. Guide me through the power of the Holy Spirit to walk in obedience, compassion, justice, and love. Strengthen me to be an instrument of peace and encouragement in a world that desperately needs Your presence. Let my life reflect Your will “on earth as it is in heaven.” May I faithfully participate in Your work each day while anticipating the fullness of Your Kingdom to come. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
