Scripture:
“Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
1 John 4:8 ESV
Devotion – Love Never Fails
Today I reflect on “Love” as the very essence of God. As I say “yes” to follow God daily in Jesus’ name, I walk in expectation of God’s agape “Love” a “Love” that redeemed me, reveals God to me, and leads me to live as God’s witness through the Holy Spirit. God’s love is not temporary, conditional, or limited. God’s love is faithful, forgiving, patient, and everlasting. Through Christ, we are recipients of a love that restores, heals, and transforms our hearts. Because “God is Love,” we are invited not only to receive this sacred gift but also to reflect it in our daily living. Let us reflect that same “Love” by being selfless, forgiving, and considerate toward others everywhere we go today. “Love” is revealed in our words, our actions, our compassion, and our willingness to extend grace even when it is difficult.
Reflection
When we love as God loves, we become living witnesses of God’s presence in the world. May the Holy Spirit guide us to embody God’s agape love in every encounter today and every day. How am I reflecting God’s love today? Who may need to experience God’s compassion, forgiveness, or kindness through me? What would it look like for me to intentionally walk in agape love wherever I go?
Call to Action
💖Receive and rest in God’s unconditional “Love” today.
💖Extend forgiveness and grace where it is needed.
💖Speak words that uplift, encourage, and bring peace.
💖Show selfless “Love” through simple acts of kindness and compassion.
💖Allow the Holy Spirit to guide your response to others in “Love.”
Pray
Loving God, thank You for Your agape love that redeemed me and reveals Your presence in my life. In Jesus’ name, help me to reflect Your love through my words, actions, and attitudes today. Fill me with the Holy Spirit so that I may live as Your witness, selfless, forgiving, compassionate, and faithful. Teach me to love as You love, that others may see Your presence through me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
