Devotion – Rejoice in the Gift of Today
Today, I reflect on what it truly means to “Rejoice” in the Lord and be glad. I “Rejoice” in the gift of a new day and the endless possibilities it brings. With a heart full of gratitude, I thank God for Jesus Christ and for the daily guidance of the Holy Spirit. To “Rejoice” is more than expressing happiness when life is easy. It is a spiritual posture rooted in faith and trust. To “Rejoicie” is a conscious choice to celebrate God’s goodness, recognize God’s presence, and embrace hope regardless of the circumstances we may face. Through Jesus Christ, we are reminded that our joy is not dependent upon temporary conditions but anchored in God’s unchanging love and faithfulness. Today, I choose to “Rejoice” with intention, embracing joy, cultivating gratitude, and trusting that no matter what this day holds, God is with me. Every sunrise is an invitation to begin again with faith, expectation, and confidence that God is at work in our lives.
Reflection
Let us “Rejoice” and declare God’s power over this day, recognizing each new day as a purposeful gift from God and an opportunity to reflect God’s light wherever we go. What would change in my spirit, attitude, and actions if I intentionally chose to “Rejoice” today, trusting God’s presence and purpose in every moment?

Pray
Gracious and loving God, thank You for the gift of this new day. In Jesus’ name, I choose to “Rejoice” and be glad, trusting in Your goodness and faithful presence. Fill my heart with gratitude, renew my joy, and guide me through the Holy Spirit so that my words, thoughts, and actions reflect Your love and hope. Help me to rejoice not only in favorable moments but in every circumstance, knowing that You are with me and working all things according to Your purpose. May my life be a witness to Your joy and grace today and always. Amen.
