Devotion – Courageous
Today, I reflect on the word “Courageous.” I thank God, in Jesus’ name, for the gift of a new day and for the “Courageous” hope we find in God through Christ and the daily encouragement of the Holy Spirit. We are called to be “Courageous” not because we are without fear, but because we trust in God’s protection and presence in the midst of every situation. To be “Courageous” is not the absence of fear; it is the decision to move forward in faith because we know God is with us. There will be moments when uncertainty surrounds us, difficult decisions must be made, or unexpected challenges arise. Yet God’s Word reminds us that our confidence is never rooted in our own strength but in the unwavering presence of the One who walks beside us. God’s divine assurance and faithful companionship become the foundation for a strong and “Courageous” faith. We do not walk alone. God goes before us, walks beside us, and remains behind us as our protector. Through the daily guidance and comfort of the Holy Spirit, we receive the wisdom, peace, and strength needed to face each new day with confidence. Whatever lies ahead, remember that God’s promise has never changed: God will never leave you nor forsake you. Because God is with you, you can step forward with confidence, knowing that every challenge becomes another opportunity to witness God’s faithfulness.
Reflection
Today, choose courage over fear, faith over doubt, and hope over discouragement. Being “Courageous” is trusting God’s presence more than our circumstances. When we remember that God goes before us, our fears lose their power, our faith grows stronger, and our hearts are filled with hope. Courage is born from God’s promises, strengthened by the Holy Spirit, and revealed through faithful obedience each day.
Call to Action

☀️Replace fearful thoughts with God’s promises found in Scripture.
☀️Encourage someone today with words of hope and confidence in God’s presence.

Pray
God, thank You for being my constant source of courage and strength. In Jesus’ name, help me to trust Your presence more than my fears. Fill me daily with the power and encouragement of the Holy Spirit so that I may walk boldly wherever You lead. Remind me that I am never alone because You go before me, remain beside me, and faithfully uphold me. May my life reflect courageous faith that inspires others to trust You more deeply. Thank You for Your unfailing promises and Your everlasting love. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
