Devotion – Living with God’s Purpose
Today, I reflect on the word “Purpose.” I thank God, in the name of Jesus, for the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit and for the promise and continued discernment of my Purpose. Every new day is an opportunity to walk more faithfully in the calling God has placed upon my life. Through Christ, I am reminded that my life is not random or without direction. God is continually at work, leading, shaping, and preparing me for the work God has uniquely designed me to do. God faithfully weaves together my joys, victories, mistakes, disappointments, and even my deepest tragedies through the redemptive work of Christ, shaping them into something meaningful and impactful over time. While life’s situations and events are not always good, God’s “Purpose” for us is always good. The Holy Spirit gently guides us through seasons of uncertainty, offering wisdom, peace, and discernment as we seek to follow God’s will. God’s “Purpose” is larger than any single moment of success or failure. Even when we cannot see the full picture, God is faithfully working behind the scenes, transforming our experiences into opportunities for spiritual growth, compassion, perseverance, and faithful witness. Nothing surrendered to God is ever wasted. As we choose to trust God’s call and faithfully follow the path set before us each day, God continues to shape our character, strengthen our faith, and prepare us to serve others with humility and love. When we place our lives in God’s hands, we discover that our greatest fulfillment comes not from pursuing our own plans, but from embracing God’s divine Purpose for our lives.

Pray
Gracious and Loving God, thank You for creating me with purpose and calling me according to Your will. In the name of Jesus, help me trust that You are working through every experience of my life, both joyful and difficult, to accomplish Your good purposes. Fill me daily with the wisdom, guidance, and power of the Holy Spirit so that I may faithfully follow where You lead. Shape my heart, strengthen my faith, and use my life to reflect Your love, grace, and hope to those around me. May I walk confidently in the purpose You have prepared for me, knowing that You are always working for my good and for Your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
