Scripture
“I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!” Psalm 27:13 ESV
Devotion – Believe God for Today
Today, I reflect on the word “Believe.” As this new day begins, I “Believe” and trust that God is already at work in my life. God’s goodness is not a distant hope reserved for heaven; God’s goodness can be experienced in the land of the living today. Through Jesus Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can “Believe” and trust God to guide, strengthen, heal, and keep us through whatever we face. Let us replace fear with faith, impatience with trust, and uncertainty with confidence in God’s presence. “Believe” God is with us and God is at work.
Reflection
What would change in my thoughts, attitude, and actions today if I truly believed that God is already at work?
Call to Action
🍂”Believe” that God is present and working in your life today.
🍂Replace fearful thoughts with prayer and trust in God.
🍂Practice patience when you cannot yet see what God is doing.
🍂Look intentionally for evidence of God’s goodness throughout your day.
🍂Encourage someone else to “Believe” and trust God.
Pray
Gracious and faithful God, thank You for the gift of this new day. I believe that I will see Your goodness in the land of the living. Help me to trust You even when I cannot see what You are doing. Replace my fear with faith, my anxiety with peace, and my impatience with confidence in Your perfect timing. Through Jesus Christ, strengthen me to walk by faith and not by sight. Holy Spirit, guide my thoughts, words, decisions, and actions today. Open my eyes to recognize Your goodness, healing, grace, and faithfulness all around me. May my life encourage others to believe that You are present and actively working. Today, I choose to believe, trust, and rest in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
