Devotion – Dwell in God’s Presence
Today, I reflect on the word “Dwell.” I thank God for a new day and the invitation to “Dwell” in God’s presence. In every circumstance, we can rely on God’s power and strength. From the moment we rise until we lie down to sleep, we can trust God with every care. Let us “Dwell” in God’s presence and bring our distress to God through honest prayer. Guided by the Holy Spirit, may we choose God’s peace over anxiety and rest securely in God’s constant presence. Whatever today brings, we can confidently “Dwell” with God through Jesus Christ.

Reflection
To “Dwell” is more than visiting God’s presence when difficulties arise. It is choosing to remain there. God invites us to make divine presence our spiritual home, a place of peace, safety, strength, and rest. What concern do you need to release today so that you can dwell more fully in God’s peace?

Call to Action
🙏🏽Dwell in God’s presence through intentional prayer today.
🙏🏽Give God the worries and concerns that are disturbing your peace.
🙏🏽Ask the Holy Spirit to replace anxiety with God’s peace.
🙏🏽Pause throughout the day and remember: God is with me.
🙏🏽Before sleeping tonight, thank God for being your place of safety and rest.

Pray
Gracious and loving God, thank You for the gift of this new day and for inviting me to dwell in Your presence. When worries, fears, and uncertainties disturb my peace, remind me that I am secure in You. I surrender every burden and concern into Your loving hands. Through the Holy Spirit, quiet my anxious thoughts and help me trust Your power, strength, and faithfulness. Teach me not merely to visit Your presence when I am distressed, but to dwell with You throughout each day. From the moment I rise until I lie down to sleep, may I rest in the assurance that You are always with me. Thank You for being my peace, my safety, and my dwelling place. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
