Devotion – Joy Comes With the Morning
Today, I reflect on the word “Joy.” As this new day begins, I do not ignore the reality of hardship and human suffering. Yet I trust God and testify that God’s presence gives us Joy that helps us endure difficult seasons. Through Jesus Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can hold on to hope when the way ahead feels dark. We may not know when hardship will pass, but hardship will not have the final word. Just as morning light follows the night, trust God for healing, restoration, and renewed Joy.

Reflection
Where do I need to trust God for renewed Joy today? Even in a difficult season, can I believe that the darkness will not last forever and that God is still present and working?

Call to Action
🌄Trust God even when you cannot see how your circumstances will change.
🌄Rest in the guidance and presence of the Holy Spirit.
🌄Remember that hardship does not have the final word.
🌄Look for signs of God’s grace, love, and favor today.
🌄Choose Joy by trusting God for healing, restoration, and a new morning.

Pray
Gracious God, thank You for the gift of this new day and for the Joy that comes from Your presence. When I experience hardship, disappointment, grief, or uncertainty, help me remember that the darkness will not last forever. Thank You for Your grace, love, and favor that give me hope. In Jesus’ name, strengthen my faith when the way ahead seems unclear. Holy Spirit, guide me, comfort me, and help me rest in Your presence. When weeping comes, remind me that You remain near. Give me strength to endure the night while trusting You for the morning. Restore what is broken, heal what is hurting, renew my hope, and fill my heart with Your Joy. May my life testify that hardship does not have the final word because Joy comes with the morning. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
