Devotion: Faith – Drawing Near to God
Today, I thank God for a new day and the gift of “Faith.” Faith is more than believing God exists; it is trusting God’s character, presence, and promises. God desires our sincere trust, not empty routines or mechanical obedience. As we intentionally seek God through Jesus Christ, we develop a genuine and growing relationship with God. Be encouraged! God sees us, cares for us, and honors our sincere pursuit of God’s presence. Guided by the Holy Spirit, may we grow daily in faith, trust, and obedience, believing that God rewards those who diligently seek God with willing hearts.

Reflection
Faith is not simply acknowledging that God exists; it is choosing to draw near to God and trust Him with every part of our lives. Our relationship with God grows when we intentionally seek God’s presence. Ask yourself: Am I pursuing a genuine relationship with God, or am I simply going through the motions of faith? How can I demonstrate greater trust in God’s promises today?

Call to Action
🙏🏽Believe: Begin today affirming your “Faith” in God’s existence.
🙏🏽Seek: Spend intentional time in prayer, Scripture, and quiet reflection.
🙏🏽Trust: Surrender one worry or uncertainty to God, believing He cares for you.
🙏🏽Grow: Invite the Holy Spirit to strengthen your faith and guide your obedience.
🙏🏽Live: Demonstrate genuine “Faith” through an intentional acts off service.

Pray
Gracious and Faithful God, Thank You for the blessing of a new day and the gift of faith through Jesus Christ. I believe that You exist, that You are present, and that You reward those who earnestly seek You. Forgive me when my relationship with You becomes routine rather than a sincere expression of love and trust. Strengthen my faith so that I may draw closer to You daily, trusting Your character and standing firmly on Your promises. Holy Spirit, guide my thoughts, words, and actions. Help me seek God’s presence with a willing heart, remain obedient when the journey is uncertain, and believe that God sees and cares for me. May my faith be more than words; let it become a living testimony of my relationship with You. Thank You, God, for Your faithfulness, grace, and unfailing love. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
