Devotion – Joy Comes With the Morning
Today, I reflect on the word “Joy.” I thank God for His faithful presence, even during life’s darkest moments. Though trials bring tears and seasons of uncertainty, God’s “Joy” grace and favor endure. Weeping may last through the night, but darkness never has the final word. Through Jesus Christ and the sustaining power of the Holy Spirit, we find renewed hope, strength, and peace. God’s promises remind us that restoration, healing, and deliverance are possible. Whatever challenges we face today, let us trust God’s faithfulness and embrace this assurance: Joy comes with the morning!

Reflection
Are you allowing yesterday’s struggles to overshadow today’s promise of “Joy?” Remember, difficult seasons do not last forever, but God’s love and faithfulness endure. Even when circumstances remain unchanged, the Holy Spirit can renew our hearts with hope and peace.  What would change in your life today if you trusted that God is already preparing a new morning of “Joy” for you?

☀️Release Yesterday’s Sorrows: Surrender your worries to God in prayer.

☀️Celebrate God’s Goodness: Find one reason to give thanks today, believing that “Joy” comes with the morning.

Pray
Gracious and Loving God, Thank You for the gift of another day and the assurance that Your joy comes with the morning. Even when life’s challenges bring tears, uncertainty, and sorrow, I am grateful that Your faithful love and favor never fail. Lord, remind us that darkness is temporary and that Your presence sustains us through every difficult season. When our hearts grow weary, renew our strength. When hope seems distant, restore our confidence in Your promises. Through Jesus Christ, help us trust Your perfect timing, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, fill our hearts with lasting joy, peace, and thanksgiving. May we encourage others with the assurance that weeping does not have the final word. Your grace, healing, and restoration bring new beginnings. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
