Scripture
“But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.”  Romans 11:6 ESVDevotion – Chosen by Grace, Sustained by Grace
Today, I reflect on the word “Grace.” I thank God for this new day and for God’s divine favor, freely given, neither deserved nor earned. We are chosen by Grace and saved through faith, not by our own efforts. Our good works do not earn God’s favor; they are the fruit of “Grace” working within us. Through Jesus Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we are transformed to follow God’s will and ways. Whatever today holds or tomorrow brings, we can rest in this assurance: God’s “Grace” is sufficient for today, tomorrow, and all eternity.Reflection
God’s “Grace” is not a reward for what we have accomplished but a gift of God’s unconditional love. We cannot earn it, and we do not have to prove ourselves worthy of receiving it. “Grace” meets us where we are and transforms us into who God calls us to become.  Are you living in the freedom of God’s “Grace’ or are you still trying to earn what God has already freely given?
